Our Holiday in Paradise

After an overnight flight with Edelweiss, we landed on Mahé at 10 am. From Mahé, we continued to Praslin with Air Seychelles. The short flight was one of the many highlights of our trip. Flight to Praslin A very friendly bus driver took us to our accommodation and told us a great deal about Praslin along the way. For 4 nights, bungalow no. 6 at Cote D'Or Chalets was our home. We really enjoyed staying here. The kitchen was very well equipped, the rooms were spacious, and the central location by Anse Volbert (Cote d'Or) was very convenient. Several supermarkets, good restaurants and a takeaway were all within walking distance. On our 1st day, we took a guided island tour, while on the 2nd and 3rd days we explored the island, especially its beaches, on our own. Cote D'Or, Praslin Our highlights on Praslin were the dream beaches of Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio, as well as Fond Ferdinand. While snorkelling at Anse Lazio, we even saw reef sharks and an incredible number of colourful fish. From Praslin, we took the ferry to La Digue, a journey of just 15 minutes. We spent 5 nights at the Elje Villa guesthouse. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was exceptionally clean and very spacious, with a lovely bathroom, and the breakfast was delicious and lovingly prepared each day. We explored the entire island on our bicycles. We visited beautiful, deserted beaches, went on some wonderful hikes and discovered impressive scenery. We came across giant tortoises several times, and they made excellent photo subjects. Our highlights were the beaches of Petite Anse and Anse Cocos, the sunsets at the helipad and the food from MiiMums takeaway. Petite Anse, La Digue After 5 wonderful days, we continued to Silhouette Island and the Hilton Labriz Resort & Spa. The journey was relatively long, but it was definitely worth it. We took the ferry from La Digue via Praslin to Mahé, followed by a transfer to the Hilton jetty and then a boat to Silhouette. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome, were shown around the entire resort by golf buggy and were then taken to our accommodation. We had a villa directly on the beach, which was indescribably beautiful, clean and luxurious. We loved being able to see the sea from every corner of our villa, relaxing on the veranda and in the hammock, swimming in the turquoise sea and taking long walks along the beach. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. All the resort staff were very friendly and attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It left virtually nothing to be desired. Beach at the Hilton Labriz Resort Silhouette After 14 days, we returned to Germany with an incredible number of wonderful memories, impressions and experiences. The planning and organisation through SeyVillas and the local support from Creole went smoothly. Whenever we had questions during the trip, we also received a prompt response. All in all, we had a varied and wonderful holiday in the Seychelles. We will definitely return one day and have already recommended both SeyVillas and the Seychelles as a travel destination.
