Due to its exceptional size, La Cigale Estate is perfectly suited for large groups searching for lavish comfort. Relax in style on one of the comfortable loungers in the chic pool area or unwind in one of the comfy armchairs in the lounge area opposite with a cool drink in hand. Or maybe you’d like to enjoy some privacy? Thanks to their comfortable and elegant furniture, the terrace/balcony areas are the perfect spot. The four additional garden suites each even have a small swimming pool. From your outdoor seating area, you can enjoy a dreamy view of the beautiful gardens as well as the ocean - you’ll certainly want to spend a long day by the sea. Kayaks, paddle boards, surf boards and snorkelling equipment are provided free of charge. The tennis court is the perfect way to keep active on holiday too. Enjoy the exquisite 5-star cuisine, served on the long dining tables at the main house or at other picturesque locations on the property.
The elegant double rooms are distributed throughout the main house and the four surrounding garden suites. The privacy of this luxurious setting means you can truly relax and take time to admire the beautiful colonial architecture. The fine interiors bring the bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms to life. In the main house, an inviting communal lounge and dining area is at your disposal. A fully equipped gym, a wine cellar and a home cinema complete the living space, as well as the in-house spa and wellness facilities and the chance to book yoga classes.
Apart from the on-site luxury and nearby beaches, there are other beautiful beaches on Praslin waiting to be explored, such as Anse Lazio (8km away). You should also pay a visit to the Vallée de Mai (6.3km) – the national park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features beautiful flora and fauna. The endemic Coco-de-Mer palm tree can also be admired here. In addition, the walking paths offer breathtaking views of the surrounding islands and the Indian Ocean. You might also want to take a boat trip to one of the enchanting neighbouring islands, such as La Digue or the turtle island of Curieuse.
