Dream Honeymoon Across 3 Islands
After our direct flight with Condor, we received a warm welcome from Creole at the airport and were given all the important information for our island-hopping trip. We then travelled by boat from Mahé to Praslin. If the crossing from Mahé to Praslin is too rough for you at this time of year due to the heavy swell, it may be better to opt for the affordable domestic flight with Air Seychelles. This should also avoid the 4-hour wait, as flights operate several times an hour. For our return transfer, we chose to fly and enjoyed a wonderful aerial view of the many islands.

Praslin

Creole arranged a hire car for us and also recommended an alternative to the somewhat touristy Vallée de Mai: Fond Ferdinand, which has an affordable admission fee including a guided tour. During our walk through this beautiful national park, we admired exotic plants, spices, animals and, of course, the famous Coco de Mer. On the way back, we naturally could not miss a detour to the renowned Anse Lazio.

We would also highly recommend the boat trip to Curieuse and St Pierre, where you can see the Seychelles’ famous giant tortoises roaming freely. After a walk across Curieuse Island, we were treated to a delicious grilled fish dish, freshly prepared for us by our guide. We then continued to St Pierre for some snorkelling.
La Digue
After a 15-minute boat journey, we arrived at our second accommodation, Le Surmer. We had deliberately decided against half board, as there are supermarkets, restaurants and takeaways within walking distance. The beach by the accommodation, Anse Reunion, was a lovely place to relax, while the famous Anse Source d´Argent is also within walking distance.

Practically the entire island can be explored by bicycle. Thanks to the relaxed nature of the Seychellois, cycling on the left is no problem here either.
Cerf Island
Even if we had not already arrived on Cerf Island feeling relaxed, the complete tranquillity here would certainly have helped us slow down. During the final 4 days of our Seychelles holiday at Villa de Cerf, the talented chef surprised us each evening with delicious Creole dishes. From the villa, you can explore the island on foot or, as we did, simply spend a relaxing day by the pool or on the beach.

If you would like to stock up on a few groceries, the hotel’s own boat will quickly take you to Eden Island (Mahé), where there is a well-stocked Spar supermarket. From there, Anna, the friendly shop owner, kindly gave us a lift into the capital, Victoria. Victoria Market, with its local products, is the perfect place to buy spices as souvenirs to take home. However, you should not plan to spend more than 2–3 hours there, as Victoria really is a small capital, and after all the tranquillity of the islands, it can be difficult to adjust to the bustle and exhaust fumes ;-).
General information
Both the support with our travel planning from SeyVillas and the assistance provided locally by Creole, with a contact person on each island, were excellent. Creole also arranged our return flight from Praslin to Mahé, which we would generally recommend as an alternative to travelling by boat. It is also worth considering a helicopter transfer, as this is a unique experience and can save you several separate transfers.
