This full-day tour blends adrenaline and nature: start with an exciting 4x4 off-road adventure through remote trails, enjoy breathtaking views, and discover hidden waterfalls. After a relaxing beachside lunch, the second stage begins: a guided kayak tour through the untouched mangroves of the Grand Police Wetlands. Here, you'll have the opportunity to experience the region’s fascinating flora and fauna up close. The tour ends with a break at Grand Police Beach, where seasonal activities include turtle nesting site visits and exploring natural rock pools. Sample Itinerary (customisable) • Pickup of guests from their accommodation and brief introduction to the day’s plan. • Drive via Le Niole Road to the first 4x4 offroad track at Dans Gallas. • Walk to Dans Gallas Waterfall with information on local flora and fauna. • Continue to the second offroad track at Ros Gorilla, Mont Buxton, with a short walk and views of the northwest coast. • Third offroad track to Cap St. Marie at Anse Boileau with views of Montagne Posse and the bay. Information on the surroundings, agriculture, and vegetation. • Lunch break with takeaway food at a beach in the southwest. • Continue to the Grand Police Wetlands. • Set up kayaks and safety briefing. • First leg of the kayak tour through the wetlands to the sandbar at Police Bay with information on mangroves, flora, fauna, and history. • Break at Grand Police Beach with seasonal activities such as turtle track observation, kokozerm tasting, or relaxing in rock pools.
