Stefanie's Top 3 Seychellen Highlights
Exploring an island far off the main islands
One of my highlights because...
...on islands such as Denis or Desroches, you can experience a genuine, luxurious Robinson Crusoe feeling far away from the crowds.
...a day trip to Curieuse or Moyenne is the perfect addition to discover even more untouched nature.
BBQ fun at the Natural Bar
It's super cool because...
...you can enjoy an awesome BBQ right by the water as the sun sets.
...the fresh fish and seafood right at La Digue harbor tastes amazing.
Nature experience in the Vallée de Fruits
A great experience because...
...it is a true paradise for discovering the tropical fruit diversity of the Seychelles right in the ‘field’.
...you can stroll among mango and papaya trees and then enjoy what is probably the freshest smoothie on the island.
Stefanie's favourite experience in the Seychelles
From the warm smiles of the Seychellois to solitary hikes to Anse Cocos: the diversity inspires me every day anew. I particularly enjoy exploring the giant tortoises on Curieuse or enjoying the twilight in Union Estate Park with its unique soundscape. My insider tip: stop at the Surfers Beach Restaurant on Anse Forbans on Mahé to relax with your feet in the sand and a cool drink.
Stefanie's Insider Tip
My tip may not be a real “secret”, but it's worth its weight in gold: a head torch! It has proven to be extremely practical, whether for the journey home after sunset or for spontaneous evening walks.
A tip for your ears: take Jean-Marc Volcy's music with you to the islands. It's the perfect soundtrack to bring that authentic Seychelles feeling back into your living room at any time after your trip.
