Full description

The northern tip of La Digue is almost untouched, offering beautiful beaches with crystal-clear water, and fantastic granite formations. One of these beaches is the stunning Anse Patate, which is also a great spot for snorkelling. Its proximity to the Coco Island Marine Park ensures that the water contains a high concentration of beautiful fish species.

Patatran Village Hotel, a stunning villa-hotel, is situated on the edge of this beach. It consists of 18 separate mini-villas, most of which have an outstanding ocean view. Coco Island, Marianne, and the Two Sisters are all visible on the horizon, and the view is made better by the hotel's location on a small hill.

Eight standard villas at 18 m² and twelve superior villas are available, all of which measure approximately 24m² in size. Each villa has its own large balcony, hair dryer, IDD telephone, air-conditioning and mini bar. The spacious bathrooms come fitted with a toilet, shower, and washbasin. The superior villas have the same features as the standard villas, but also offer a complete sea view. These rooms also offer space for a third bed, if required. In addition, three large deluxe villas are available, measuring 50m² each, as well as four honeymoon suites and a junior suite, which measure about 100m² each. There is also a family room with 2 bedrooms and connecting door.

The hotel's restaurant offers excellent Creole cuisine that is renowned across the island. The breakfast buffet offers plenty of food, including a delicious homemade banana jam from time to time, which is well worth a try! Once a week there is a Creole buffet, including evening entertainment in the form of folklore and music.

You can find a bike rental directly at the hotel, which is especially useful on La Digue. In addition, the hotel provides snorkelling and BBQ trips to the small, uninhabited islands of the Coco Island Marine Park. These can be booked on-site, and are certainly worth a go!
