We had the villa at the highest point, and the view was correspondingly impressive! The lavish Christmas decorations in the main house reminded us, in almost 30°C heat, that Christmas is just around the corner. I thought it was beautifully done. The food was excellent and varied, and the fish we caught on our fishing trip were deliciously prepared especially for us. The staff was friendly, the bicycles were fine (although there are probably better ones available if you rent them elsewhere), and everything was very clean. The island is kept clean and tidy, except for a few rough spots, which I found very pleasant! The locals, when you do interact with them, are very friendly and cheerful, which is almost surprising given how touristy the island is. I hope cruise ships never dock there. It would be nice to have a room for late departures where you can shower and change clothes if, as in our case, a late check-out isn't possible.
