A very nice, stylish guesthouse (the beach is just across the road, a 2-minute walk) with lovely rooms, each with a balcony. We had mountain views and could admire the fruit bats taking flight every evening. Breakfast was typical of the region and served on a beautiful terrace. The entire staff, including the owner and the organizer Amanda, anticipated our every need. Just a few minutes away is a Hilton hotel where we could sign up for the themed buffet dinners (20% discount through the guesthouse). We particularly recommend the Creole evening with music and dance performances. Directly opposite, there's a shop and a highly-rated takeaway. We recommend renting a car to explore the island. However, the bus is also an option, as we frequently encountered it on the narrowest sections of the road. Mahé feels significantly busier than Praslin and La Digue, but here in the southeast, you can truly relax away from the hustle and bustle of Victoria.

Swimming is great at the former, and snorkeling is fantastic at the latter (we were there in November). There are several good restaurants nearby. A rental car is recommended, but if necessary, the bus runs almost everywhere. The hotel is spotlessly clean and well-maintained with a lovely garden. Amanda, the manager, is incredibly friendly and takes care of the excellent breakfast each morning; we even had the opportunity to eat a set menu at the hotel one evening, which was delicious and reasonably priced.
