Explore one of Praslin’s most beautiful natural treasures on a guided walk through the Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve. Located at the meeting point in the carpark of the reserve, this 1-hour tour takes you deep into 150 hectares of carefully restored tropical forest. Led by an experienced guide, you will follow a scenic 6 km trail through lush vegetation, discovering the rich biodiversity of the Seychelles along the way. Keep an eye out for endemic species such as the Black Parrot and the Seychelles Bulbul, as well as unique flora including the iconic Coco de Mer palms. You may also spot geckos and other fascinating wildlife hidden within the forest. About the provider
Born on Praslin, Elliott attended VIJAY International School Praslin. After graduating, he enrolled at the Seychelles Tourism Academy (STA), where he completed his training and qualifications to become a self-employed licensed tour guide in 2024.
A native French and English speaker, and fluent in Creole, he will be delighted to show you the beauty of his island. He may even teach you a few Creole words so you can blend in with our little paradise.

The tour starts daily at 10:30 or 14:00 from the entrance of Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve, Praslin.
This tour is subject to weather conditions. In the event of cancellation, the tour operator will reschedule the tour, offer an alternative excursion of similar value, or provide a full refund.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the tour may be cancelled at least 1 day in advance.
