Marcello's favourite experience in the Seychelles
For me, there isn’t just one single most beautiful experience – it’s the many small, special moments that make my stay in the Seychelles so unique. I enjoy not only the breathtaking sunsets, but also the sunrises. It’s worth getting up a little earlier – for example, at 7 a.m. – to experience the silence, the soft light, and the peaceful atmosphere. When the island slowly awakens, it’s a magical moment that I truly treasure. Another highlight for me is dining in the small guesthouses, most of which are run by locals. You can immediately taste the love and care that goes into the cooking – it makes every meal special. A very special moment for me was my first stay on Silhouette Island. It was there that I spent my very first night in the Seychelles. That feeling of arriving – the nature, the light, the sense of “Now I’m really here” – is something I will never forget.
Marcello's Insider Tip
Island Hopping by Catamaran! For me, a 4- to 5-day catamaran tour is the perfect way to discover the Seychelles off the beaten track. You’ll reach secluded bays like Anse Marron on La Digue, which are difficult to access from land, and enjoy fantastic snorkelling spots without the crowds. Along the way, it’s worth stopping onshore to try one of the many takeaways – the food is fresh, delicious, and surprisingly affordable. Ideal for anyone who wants to experience nature, the ocean, and Creole cuisine in their purest form.
A trip to the Seychelles is something truly special – dreamlike beaches, fascinating nature, a vibrant culture, watersports, and hiking trails await you. All of this in one of the safest travel destinations in the world. I look forward to supporting you with tips and ideas for your trip planning!
